Statement
How we approach accessibility, and how to tell us when we've got it wrong.

What we aim for
We build this website and our client work toward the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. That is a target we design against, not a certification we hold — no automated tool or single audit can prove a site is fully conformant, and we would rather say so than display a badge.
What that means in practice
On this website, that includes:
- Text and background colours checked for contrast, including on the gradient sections
- A layout that works down to small phone screens without horizontal scrolling
- Real headings in a logical order, so screen readers and keyboard users can navigate by structure
- Keyboard-operable navigation, menus, and forms
- Form fields with labels, and error messages that are announced rather than shown by colour alone
- Descriptive alternative text on meaningful images
- Reduced-motion support, so the scrolling banner stops for anyone who has asked their system to limit animation
Known limits
Screenshots of client websites shown in our portfolio are images of other people's designs. We describe each one in its alternative text, but we cannot make the content inside a screenshot readable by a screen reader.
